No. The standard pass includes the thermal pools beside the Tizate River, but not the complete Rincón Thermals complex. Access to its 20+ hot, warm and cold volcanic pools can be added for $22 plus tax per adult or $18 plus tax per child.
The pass provides access from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., giving guests approximately 7½ hours at the property. The website does not currently publish the individual times or reservation process for guided activities, so guests should confirm the day’s schedule upon arrival.
Both passes include the main adventure, cultural and nature experiences. The Rincón Day Pass also includes unlimited access to the complete 20+ pool Rincón Thermals complex and Guanacaste’s only waterfall jump, while these are not included with the standard Explore Day Pass. An upgrade is available for the Explore Day Pass during the checkout process.
The Explore Day Pass offers child tickets for ages 5–11, but the activity page does not currently provide specific age, height, weight or health requirements for each adventure. Guests should contact Rincón before booking to confirm eligibility for ziplining, horseback riding and the jungle waterslide.
The pass includes a complimentary buffet lunch. Additional à la carte dining and bar service are available during the day, but the current page does not specify the buffet menu, included drinks or dietary options.
Guests should bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes suitable for the adventure activities and a change of clothes. Insect repellent and a reusable water bottle are also recommended. Towels and lockers are included.
Guests receive a full refund or credit when cancelling at least 24 hours in advance. A full refund or credit is also provided if the operator cancels because of weather or another unforeseen circumstance, while no-shows are charged the full booking price.
